INQUIRING PHOTOGRAPHER

By JULES IRA RUBENSTEIN

We asked readers readers what problems they thought Mayor Mike Bloomberg should address during his second term.

“He needs to work on the schools. We still have too many children who are dropping out. Also, in terms of the testing, there should be more resources … for teachers so that our children can pass all of these tests.”

Imani Kinshasa

“He [should] try to look at the problems that face CUNY, as far as the money that’s being raised and tuition.”

Leo Fortyz

“[He should] look at the daycare system and the working families more. Last year the DC1707 union had a hard time getting our contract. We’re going to have to fight even harder.”

William Bennett

“He should try to get more jobs, especially here in the Bronx — any kind of job where you can make a decent dollar, rather than just going to work in a supermarket.”

Ivan Martinez

“I’d like to see the mayor take care of the poor people, the people with Social Security … and landlords that take our money and don’t give us any heat or hot water.”

Edward Coleman
