INQUIRING PHOTOGRAPHER

By Jules Ira Rubenstein

We asked readers on the Grand Concourse if they thought there should be restrictions on the use of cell phones.

"I think they should use restrictions only when you're driving because you do get distracted. You can't drive and talk on the phone at the same time."

Giselle (last name withheld)

"In restaurants there should be some etiquette. I've had to tell people 'you're not alone here, you're not home, can you hold your voice down?'"

David Rudes

"I'm an excessive user of cellular phones. I think it's a good idea that we restrict using cellular phones while driving. I myself almost had an accident."

Bernie Rodriguez

"I think they should restrict them. They're very annoying. People use them on buses ... in restaurants."

Hazel Torres

"No cell phones in cars. No cell phones on bikes. No cell phones in restaurants."

Vincent Palange
