INQUIRING PHOTOGRAPHER

By Jules Ira Rubenstein

We asked members of the Mosholu Montefiore Community Center their thoughts about the recent World Trade Center disaster.

"We should try settling it peacefully, because so much is involved and so many people. We just don't need war. No one is prepared for the kind of war that can be now."

Selma Gilbert

"I'm a Muslim. I express my sympathy and regret. We have to remain calm. We should pray for peace and God bless America."

Mansour Sophani

"It's unfortunate that this happened. I just wish there won't be any war. There are other ways to deal with this situation besides war."

Rose Vasquez

"They hit something that symbolized the liberty of the USA. We feel afraid to go out. We don't feel safe anymore and we don't know what's going to happen."

Adam Perez

"I was horrified by seeing America get attacked. My hope is for peace and prosperity to continue for us as Americans."

Cheryl Croce
