INQUIRING PHOTOGRAPHER

By JULES IRA RUBENSTEIN

We asked readers if they will watch the upcoming Democratic and Republican conventions.

"I think it's a waste of time and money. It's what happens at the end that counts  --  who we're going to vote for. They should save the money and utilize it for other means."

Harry Lapman

"I'll watch as little of it as possible, only what I can't avoid. I don't know what Bush could
say at this stage  . . . without contradicting everything he's done."

Michael Greene

"It's worth watching with what's going on in the world today . . . to take an interest in our country. I think you always find something that you didn't know. And you see the
candidates . . . and the way they conduct themselves."

Irene Noonan

"It's very important to see the conventions of both parties to see what they say about the
economy and the future of our country. I like Kerry and Edwards, but I want to see a little bit more of what's happening [with them]."

Felipe Gonzalez

"This is my first year of eligibility to vote, so I feel it's important to get to know the topics and issues that are going on. The only two issues that matter to me is the war and the economy."

Jason Taylor
