INQUIRING PHOTOGRAPHER

By JULES IRA RUBENSTEIN

We asked readers what they thought of former president Bill Clinton running for mayor in 2006, if he chooses to.

"He was a great president, so he'd be a wonderful mayor. He was good for the United
States, so he'd be good for New York City."

Sybil Singleton

"I think he should consider it. He's got an office in Harlem -- that's really good for the
community. We need that right now. Bloomberg is just doing all these cuts."

Robert Martinez

"I think he'd look to be a senator or something higher. It all depends on who he's going
against. But he can't be any worse than Bloomberg."

Tommy Sheehan

"He opened an office in the city; his wife became senator -- it's pretty obvious to me if he
became mayor she's going to make a run for the presidency. Although he's not president
anymore, he does have political influence."

Victor Milian

"I don't think it would make any difference. I see government being a plutocracy, and he's
as much a part of it as Bloomberg. What does he know about New York City?"

Jim Morgan
