INQUIRING PHOTOGRAPHER

By JULES IRA RUBENSTEIN

We asked readers at the Bronx Day Parade what they liked about living in the Bronx.

"I've lived in the Bronx since I came from Ireland, and I intend to keep living here. It's a wonderful place to live. The people are nice É and there are beautiful trees and parks."

Margaret Fogarty

"The people are among the friendliest people on earth, and they come from all parts of the world. Everybody works together."

Lloyd Ultan

"It's very convenient, with a lot of supermarkets, stores and schools. Everything you need is right in the area. Nice people, too."

Thomasina White

"I've been living in the Bronx for 30 years and I work at PS 94. I love the Bronx. My kids grew up here, and my son works at Montefiore. I like the Botanical Garden and the Bronx Zoo."

Marisol Alvarez

"It's very diverse -- you see many different cultures in one big place. Even with the problems we have, there is a community around here."
