Bank Gives Bookstore Boost

Twice Told Tales, the used bookstore opened on Bainbridge Avenue by the Mosholu
Montefiore Community Center last fall, will now be open a full six days a week, thanks to
financial support from City and Suburban Federal Savings Bank. Richard Karpowich
(center), a City & Suburban senior vice president, was on hand last week to announce a
general operating support grant of $3,000 to the store along with store manager Jane
Chaney and Bob Altman, assistant executive director at MMCC.
