INQUIRING PHOTOGRAPHER

By JULES IRA RUBENSTEIN

We asked readers who they thought should be held responsible for the mistreatment of Iraqi prisoners.

"The soldiers themselves should be responsible for it. I think it's disgraceful what they did. Whoever is in charge of keeping an eye on them should be responsible as well."

Tracy Crean

"Secretary Rumsfeld should resign. He should be responsible for the mistreatment of the prisoners. He should be aware of everything that's going on."

Amber Kasim

"The government's responsible for not overseeing their staff. It has to do with the people in charge overseeing their staff."

Daniel Roman

"It's the individual's fault. But they're over there getting attacked. The soldiers have to be trained better, but I can understand it under the circumstances."

Ada Reynolds

"I don't think all the fingers should be pointed to Bush. The soldiers are under pressure over there. Both sides are going through harsh situations."

Angel Villaronga
