INQUIRING PHOTOGRAPHER

By JULES IRA RUBENSTEIN

We asked readers what they thought of the Yankees' plan to build a new Yankee stadium in Macombs Dam Park.

“They should just renovate the old one, and leave it there. It’s a landmark, why move it? People are used to having Yankee Stadium right there.”

Steven Espilco

“They should leave Yankee Stadium alone because if they build it in the park, where are the kids going to play?”

Richard Carreras

“It shouldn’t be built at another location. If they move it to another place, they’re just taking up more room. They shouldn’t build it anyway.”

Gergory Miller

“I don’t think it’s a fair thing to do. I live right around there. Everybody uses that park. What are we going to do [without it]? Why build a new stadium? It’s a waste of money.”

Dwayne Lisbey

“I don’t think they should tear down the stadium … because it’s a monument. Destroying it and building a new one would destroy the whole purpose of the stadium. It seems like it’s in good condition.”
