INQUIRING PHOTOGRAPHER

By JULES IRA RUBENSTEIN

We asked readers what they thought of rumors that a hotel might be built on Webster Avenue near PS/MS 20.

“This area is not really connected to any main highway. So I don’t really see — other than for local people here — how this would really help.”

Christopher Ortiz

“It may bring congestion, and I don’t know what type of people would tour this area.
It may cause problems for the school and
community.”

Corina De Leon

“I don’t really think it’s a good idea with the school. We don’t know who we’re going to be staying in these hotels. And it’s next to a school? I don’t think it’s a good idea.”

Edwin Fonseca

“My son goes to PS/MS 20. A classy hotel I could handle, a sleazy one [I couldn’t].”

Mary Santana

“If it’s a good, high-class hotel, I have no problems with it. I would appreciate that. It would help the neighborhood out a lot.”

Michael Cooper
