INQUIRING PHOTOGRAPHER

By JULES IRA RUBENSTEIN

We asked readers what they thought about Mayor Bloomberg’s plan to distribute free condoms to community organizations to help fight the spread of AIDS and unwanted births.

Health-wise, it’s a good thing to give them out. Personally, having young kids, I really don’t care for it.

Jay Fink

It’s a fantastic idea, I support him completely. I think it’s best because a lot of people are too lazy or don’t have time or can’t afford a condom.

Andrea Gruenler Murano

I oppose condoms. They shouldn’t be distributed to anybody. I’ve opposed them all my life.

Mike Mahoney

It sounds like a very optimistic moral act, but I don’t think that just disseminating
the use of condoms will prevent or stop disease. It’s deeper than that.

Tony Chrst

Morally, it’s an individual choice, but whatever it takes to save a life, I’m an advocate.

Richard Santiago
