Easter Greetings

Children showed off their handmade Easter Baskets at the Bedford Park Congregational Church a few weeks ago. The baskets were made by local Girl Scouts, who are pictured above with their siblings, as part of their Saturday program at the church. The baskets were made from oatmeal boxes and juice containers and decorated with tissue paper and ribbon. The girls made baskets for themselves and for patients at the Children's Hospital at Montefiore. Scout leader Kathy Rivera said the troops do service projects throughout the year..
