INQUIRING PHOTOGRAPHER

By JULES IRA RUBENSTEIN

We asked readers what should be done to control steroid abuse among  Major league baseball players.

"It’s too late. It was done in the past. I don’t think they should ban them or take away their records. Maybe they should have testing and suspend a few guys.”

Kyle Hendricks

"Have stricter guidelines to monitor these players. Have random drug tests. Don’t take away their records, but at least suspend them. Officials let this run rampant because … they turn a blind eye.”

Jennifer Flynn

"They should do drug testing in the Major Leagues. They should be suspended and fined. It’s an illegal drug … and it’s dangerous. Later in life it really affects them.”

Dianne Perez

“If they’re found using steroids they should be suspended or punished. It’s cheating. If you’re using a performance enhancing drug, then you’re getting an unfair advantage. You’re supposed to be competing based on your talent.”

Phillip Coleman

“Everyone should be tested. People should not be reprimanded for it, but they should get some counseling. Everyone deserves a second chance.”

Carlos Laboy
