I would like to welcome you to the
Bronx Mall website!
The Bronx Mall is the source for all Bronxites to obtain the most up
to date community and business information. On this site you will
find the latest local news, special events in your neighborhood and
information on important public meetings that affect the Borough’s
quality of life.
Bronx Mall is the center for information from your local Community
Boards. These mini City Halls exist to help Bronx residents navigate
the challenges of the city’s bureaucracy.
The Bronx has faced the challenges of the present economy and
continues its unprecedented growth. The new Gateway Plaza has opened
and provided Bronx residents with hundreds of job opportunities and
new retail choices. The Yankees have moved into their new home and
will hopefully bring many World Championships back to the Bronx. We
continue to build more affordable housing and we are quickly
becoming New York City’s greenest borough.
All these new changes and challenges in our borough is making the
Bronx become stronger, become more united, become “One Bronx”.
The
twelve community boards throughout The Bronx have played a vital role in
this resurgence. They are an
important partner in government, planning for their districts’ futures,
and monitoring the delivery of city services in their communities. I hope that you will find the information posted on the
community boards' web pages to be helpful.
