Local Foods Promotion Program to determine the
feasibility of integrating locally-sourced fruits,
vegetables, and other products for restaurants that are
members of the United Business Cooperative (UBC).
SoBRO began working the a group of 40 immigrant-owned
small restaurant owners to establish the UBC in the Spring
of 2014. The USDA grant will allow them to help the members
to create and market healthier menus and the integration of
locally produced foods.
