Fordham Fever Fridays begins this season with a vibrant Spring Fling on May 1 from 12 - 5 p..m. at Muller Park and Plaza.

The Annual Bronx Survivor's Tribute 2015
will be held Friday, April 24 at Hostos Community College from 4:00 - 8:30 p.m., In support of National Crime Victims' Rights Week, April 19 - 25, p
rograms will include singing, dancing, fashion show and guest speakers. Refreshments

In 2015, the Women's Housing and Economic Development Corporation will break ground on our third and most ambitious project yet: Bronx Commons, a 361,600 square foot mixed-use development that will feature 270 affordable homes, live/work space for elder musicians, a rooftop urban farm, ground-level retail, recreational space, and the permanent home of the BMHC.

SoBRO was recently awarded a $25,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Local Foods Promotion Program to determine the feasibility of integrating locally-sourced fruits, vegetables, and other products for restaurants that are members of the United Business Cooperative (UBC). SoBRO began working the a group of 40 immigrant-owned small restaurant owners to establish the UBC in the Spring of 2014. The USDA grant will allow them to help the members to create and market healthier menus and the integration of locally produced foods.
