Stroll beneath dozens of suspended designs in the tropical ambience of the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory, with an expanded display for its 13th year that fills the Rain Forest Galleries and beyond with flamboyant color and intoxicating fragrance. Through April 19 .

We Are All Immigrants: A Celebration of the Immigrant
Cultures of the Bronx

 from 3:30 - 6:30 p.m, The Community Folk Culture Program
at Mind-BuildersCreative Arts Center in the Bronx, will host this sharing and celebration of the richness of local immigrant cultures. Local artisans are invited to display, sell and/or demonstrate their work.

Friends of Van Cortlandt Park’s 6th Annual Hike-a-Thon is
on Saturday April 25, 2015 at 10am. Get out for a hike and help
us raise funds for the restoration of Van Cortlandt Park's
spectacular hiking trails. Similar to a Walk-a-Thon, we are asking
you to seek out supporters to sponsor your hike for this rain or shine
event. Participants can choose one of three hiking routes (1-5 miles)
the day of the event. Register by April 22.

Bronx Community College Run the Bronx will take place
on Saturday, May 2.  Race starts and finishes at the college,
rain or shine.  Run for fun, fitness and health.  Register by

The Beat of the Bronx, Culture for a Cause, will be held on May 7, 2015 from 6 - 9 p.m.  Performances, raffles, silent auction, Yankees tickets, Prizes, and, of course, food.
