Pest
Control Tidbits
Common Ways Pest Problems Can Occur:
Action: Firewood is stored indoors
to avoid going out in the rain or snow to get it.
This also keeps it dry making it burn cleaner.
Problem: Carpenter ants and other
wood destroying organisms enter the home.
Action: Recycling of soda cans and
bottles in the house or office help save landfill
space and money.
Problem: Such bottles attract flies
and cockroaches. Mice have also been known to
crawl into cans and bottles.
Action: A family eats popcorn while
sitting on a couch watching TV. Some popcorn
falls behind the pillows and does not get picked
up.
Problem: Grain insects or mice can
move into the couch and start a nest.
