Luis A. Sterling, alumni of the Graduate
Realtors Institute (GRI), has been in business
for about four years now. He is the owner
of Sterling Realty, a member of the
Bronx-Manhattan Association of Realtors, and is
involved with the Board of Directors of the
Bronx Hispanic Foundation.
Sterling, who owns the business in which his
business is based, is also the President of the
138th Street Merchant & Professional
Association. He strongly believes that
Mott Haven is an area with a lot of potential,
which is why he made a decision to open his
realty business in the area. He grew
up in the Melrose section of the South
Bronx. His family has been doing business
in the Bronx for the past twenty years and he
wants to be a part of the renaissance and the
economic resurgence that is taking place.
His company offers residential and
commercial real estate services.
"We
need groups like SOBRO to continue spear-heading
the support for new and existing businesses to
succeed," said Sterling.
