over 86 years, Salesian High School has
helped thousands of young men realize their
dreams. Our students enjoy the
benefits of a quality academic program in a
small school setting that will help them
achieve their potential.
Founded in 1920
by the Salesians of
St. John Bosco, a
religious order of
priests and brothers, Salesian High
School is a private college
preparatory Catholic secondary school for
boys
that is accredited by the Middle States
Association of Colleges and
Schools, approved by the New York State
Department of Education
and serves
approximately 460 young men from the Bronx
and Westchester.
At its core, Salesian is a
home that welcomes, a school that
prepares
for life, a parish where Christian values
shape character,
and a playground where
lasting friendships are formed.
Over 97% of
applicants are accepted to colleges and
universities and 36% of the 2006 graduating
class received
scholarships and grants. |
