Green Jobs for Youth (GJ4Y) is a year round paid internship in which new summer participants attend college lectures given by Lehman College's esteemed  Biology Department, Returning participants attend
GIS Certificate trainings provided by NYC Parks staff, and both work outdoors with horticulturists and forest
restoration staff from Van Cortlandt Park while completing labs and going on great field trips! In the
fall interns are part of the leadership training series where they lead several groups of volunteers in forest
