North
Bronx Thinktank
is a research organization, comprised of a committee of concerned
citizens and merchants, which was established in 2003 for the
purpose of resurrecting a better quality of life in our North Bronx
neighborhoods.
The mission is to prevent quality of life decay and accelerate
programs through research, education, and communication.
Our goal is to identify areas of promise and provide the funding
necessary to make these research projects successful in addressing
quality of life problems.
Our creation of the following programs has assisted in advancing the
prevention and acceleration of a better quality of life in the North
Bronx:
Bronxites for Parks (2003)
to improve and preserve our parkland.
The Committee of 100 Democrats (2004)
to achieve political success.
The Children’s Collective (2005),
a 9-member organization dedicated to the safety of children.
The Fusion Coalition (2006)
to continue the good Bronx community and political work of Dominick
Fusco.
North Bronx Merchant Association (2007)
to assist merchant associations in developing economic commerce.
Citizens Action Committee (2008)
to focus on housing and tenant rights. |
